Here is a teaser for the young adult fantasy novel I am writing in Fiction for Children. It's a work in progress at the moment, with lots of drafts, so don't expect anything brilliant too soon. It's about Princess Prudence and how she copes with life as a princess. It sounds a bit cliché but it will be written in a fast paced outspoken way like Meg Cabot's or Louise Rennison's books, with none of the flowery fantasy language. My lecturer says it sounds good, and the plot deals with some serious issues like arranged marriage and terrorism, though some of that wasn't entirely intentional.
Anyway, I really need get on with my dreaded essay so I will leave you with this map until next time!
